Auditions for Community Children’s Theatre’s production of “Shrek the Musical,” directed by Gillian Cramer, will take place Friday April 25th at 6pm and Saturday April 26th at 10am at CCT (8900 N. Industrial Rd) for children ages 8-18.
Please prepare a song to sing (not from this show), and dress in comfortable clothing for a dance audition. A piano accompanist will be provided at auditions, and we will also have a speaker available for those using a karaoke track.
Please prepare a list of any conflicts you have with rehearsals to your audition. Rehearsals will be in the evenings on weeknights in May, then move to the afternoons in June and continue until performances in July.
Performances of “Shrek the Musical” will take place July 9-13, 2025 at Peoria Players Theatre. There is no fee to audition. Children who are cast will have a $100 registration fee. There is a discounted registration fee of $75 for each additional child from the same family. There are also a limited number of scholarships available for families who are in need of assistance paying the registration fee. Ask us for more details if you need financial assistance.
